The Market truly depends on volunteers in all facets of its operation. From set-up to tear-down and everything in between, volunteers help to make the Waterfront Farmers Market a special community gathering place.
We welcome individuals and groups!
This year, with COVID protocol in place, we are in need of volunteers more than ever.
We provide a safe and fun place to volunteer ~ in the fresh air, on the waterfront!
Some of the many roles that volunteers fulfill at the WFM are:
-
Assisting vendors with loading/unloading their equipment and product during the set-up and breakdown phases of the Market.
-
Placing signage and other equipment throughout the Market at the direction of the Market Manager.
-
Assisting vendors by briefly covering their booth so they may take food, restroom, and water breaks.
-
Greeting and counting patrons as they enter the Market, providing them with hand sanitizer.
-
Thanking and counting patrons as they exit the Market.
