The Market truly depends on volunteers in all facets of its operation. From set-up to tear-down and everything in between, volunteers help to make the Waterfront Farmers Market a special community gathering place.

Some of the many roles that volunteers fulfill at the WFM are:

  • Assisting vendors with unloading their equipment and product during the set-up phase of the Market.

  • Placing signage and other equipment throughout the Market at the direction of the Market Manager.

  • Facilitating Market activities and games.

  • Assisting vendors by briefly covering their booth so they may take food, restroom, and water breaks. 

  • Counting patrons as they enter the Market.
